Date: Tue, 15 Oct 1996 10:01:42 PDT Reuters reports from Paris that France intends to put the "index of shame" register on public display. This register demonstrates how French government officials helped the Nazis persecute the Jews. French authorites had denied that the register existed until now. The register will be displayed at the Center of Jewish Contemporary Documentation, but the files will be put on microfilm first, so that they will be available to researhers.
