X-Comment: The Nizkor Project: Holocaust Research Mailing List

In case anyone is interested, here is a letter I send to David Irving in
response to his letter to me.

David Irving
PO Box 1707
Key West, FL 33041

Dear Mr. Irving:

Thank you for your letter of 09/22/96. You indicated in your note that
you became uncomfortable upon learning from your friends that I post on
the Internet. I'm sorry if that information caused you alarm.

Let me reassure you I certainly have no intention of `unlawful
dissemination' of any `intellectual property' of yours. I am a writer
myself, and understand the rules of copyright.

I did notice, however, that there are a couple of places on the Internet
where transcripts or audio versions of your speeches are available.
Since you are concerned about potential theft of intellectual property,
I'm sure you will want to contact these folks about this apparently
unauthorized use of your words:

Sincerely yours,
