Subject: Open Letter to Ernst Zundel

Mr. Zundel,

In a recent "Power Letter," you raised the issue of
"the great electronic Holocaust
debate," and mentioned that "serious dialogue can begin."

Given your expressed desire to enter into this debate, which
has continued on UseNet for over four years, I find it curious
that you express a preference for the World Wide Web.

As we have pointed out previously, one does not "debate" on Web
sites - the medium is inappropriate; it would be like duelling
glaciers - even your colleague, Bradley Smith, of CODOH,
recognizes this.

Usenet, however, is perfectly designed for free and open debate.
That is why I find it strange that you have thus far withheld
your participation, for whatever reason. InterNet users, of
course, will draw their own conclusions about your failure to
engage in what you yourself refer to as "the great electronic
Holocaust debate."
