1944

A transport from Bolzano transit camp to Mauthausen
concentration camp includes children and partners in mixed
marriages. (USHMM, 1994, p. 67)

The Jewish Council in Budapest is informed of the decision
to establish a ghetto. The decree ordering the creation of
the ghetto is published on November 29. The relocation of
Jews is virtually complete by December 2, and the ghetto is
sealed on December 10. (USHMM, 1994, p. 68)
