1933

Rudolf Hess establishes a Racial Policy Division, under Dr.
Walter Gross, in order to develop and carry out the Nazi
plan to destroy "inferior racial stock." (3322-PS, 3163-PS) (NCA II, 475)

1944

In the aftermath of the assassination in Cairo of Lord
Moyne, British resident minister in the Middle East, by
members of the "Stern group," Winston Churchill in the House
of Commons, warns the Jewish communityh in Palestine to
destry such terrorist elements, implying that he and others
might otherwise withdraw support from the Zionist cause. He
reports that Chaim Weizmann, President of the Jewish Agency
for Palestine, assured him that Palestine Jews will go to
great lengths to cut out this evil. (See October 9). (USHMM,
