Police Battalion 101 massacres the Jews held in the labor camp at 
Poniatowa, murdering 14,000 defenseless victims in the process. (Browning, 140)

SS commander Globocnik writes Himmler to say, "I have ...
completed Operation Reinhard [the physical destruction of
all Jews in the General Government] and closed all the
[concentration] camps." Himmler later responds, "Job well-
