1935

The Jewish Section of the Reich Institute for the History of
the New Germany was inaugurated. (Friedlaender, 191)

1939

Hermann Goering orders the economic plunder of the Eastern
Territories, thus setting the stage for widespread
deprivation and starvation throughout occupied Poland and
the Soviet Union. (EC-410) (NCA II, 441)

1944

The Palestine government banishes 251 persons detained as
terrorists or as accomplices. They are placed in military
custody and taken to Eritrea. (USHMM, 1994, p. 64)
