1944

American airplanes bomb the I.G. Farben factories at
Auschwitz-Monowitz (Buna). (USHMM 1994, 59)

September 13-15, 1944

During the Slovakian uprising, 446 Jews are rounded up by
Einsatzkommando 13 in the vicinity of Zilina, in northwest
Slovakia. The prisoners are initially held in the Llava
concentration camp and later deported to concentration camps
in the Reich. (USHMM 1994, 59)
