1944

In reaction to local resistance activity near Lyon, the
Germans massacre one hundred non-Jewish men, women, and
children; the victims are shot and then burned with gasoline
in the abandoned fort of Cote Laurette in St. Genis-Laval, a
suburb of Lyon. (USHMM 1994, 55)
